blue heeler is a family business from Brisbane. Australians are peculiar. They speak a special slang – Strine. They have a very relaxed attitude and are known for their friendly, open nature. In all of this, they seem to do quite a lot right, as Australia is ranked first in the world for quality of life. The Aussies themselves call their country “the lucky country”. Logically, we want to bring a bit of this to Europe.
Founder Ira Neumann is an Australian living in northern Germany. She has been in the shoe industry for over 25 years. With blue heeler, she created what she had been looking for for a long time in 2010:
an Australian lifestyle shoe brand that is incorruptible when it comes to style and quality.
For those who know what counts. Our favorites are Aussie boots. The Chelsea boots have made a name for themselves as an authentic style classic. The outback farmers also wear them with enthusiasm.
Why?

Because they are perfect for any weather and any appearance – especially when they are made from robust natural materials.
Soles predominantly made of natural rubber, high-quality nappa cowhide on the outside and a lining made of soft cowhide on the inside – a shoe can hardly get any better than one from the blue heeler manufactory. We are proud of the harmonious contrasts that give our collection its fine character:

This is the Blue Heeler. Also known as the Australian Cattle Dog, it is a real workhorse. Hardly any farm in the outback can do without it. The first settlers bred the Blue Heeler as a reliable herding and driving dog. The animals had to help keep the huge herds of cattle together over long distances.
In Australia they still call him the best friend in the bush, because he is loyal, hard-boiled and persistent. Just like our shoes. With their thick cowhide leather, they are particularly robust.
